Walls
When we are facing a level change from one area to another there is often the need to construct a wall to retain the higher area from the lower. A masonry wall needs extensive footings, steel reinforcement and core-filling with concrete before adorning the face with options like rendering or tile cladding. Timber or concrete sleeper walls require galvanised steel posts installed in correctly spaced deep footings. Both options need serious drainage systems behind the wall that can consist of geotextile covered and angled pipes, correctly sized & placed aggregate screening stone, waterproofing and moisture barrier layers and in some cases no-fines concrete.
All too often we are engaged to repair shoddy wall construction built by others. Usually caused by insufficient wall footings or inadequate drainage behind the wall. This is often not discovered for years down the track when walls start to move or collapse.
This is why if you want a wall built correctly in accordance with Australian Building Standards engage Supreme Green to build your walls. We often build walls for engineered plans using latest methods for ensuring longevity of your investment.
Fencing
We rebuild boundary fences often with capped lattice and submit quotes to neighbours for half payment where required. In most cases we then paint the inside of these fences to create a beautifully contrasting backdrop to the plants we’ll later install in front. Timber palings, brush fencing, horizontal hardwood timber slats and even steel and aluminium form many of our internal gates, screens and fences. Laser cut screens and rendered panels also provide a high-quality screen or internal fence lining we can install. We also install glass fencing and/or tubular steel around pools for full visibility. Our front fences often consist of brickwork and steel or timber inserts which are then matched with automatic gates.
